Eyan Gormly
“As a music instructor at the Burgundy School of Music, my mission is to help students uncover their unique musical voice while building the confidence to grow as musicians. Creativity, curiosity, and genuine connections to our craft are at the heart of my teaching philosophy.
My background in sound design and live theater — as well as my work as an independent artist and producer — informs my approach, allowing me to bring a well-rounded perspective to each lesson. As a graduate of Western Connecticut State University, I’ve explored the power of sound and music as tools for personal expression and storytelling, which I am passionate about sharing with my students. I find great joy in helping students discover their capabilities and achieve their goals while developing their technical skills and artistic vision.
I believe every student has the ability to achieve their musical goals, and I aim to reinforce that belief. My role is to empower students with the skills and confidence to succeed, encouraging them to embrace their creativity and deepen their connection to music in a supportive and engaging environment."
