Beson Thai
Benson Thai is a Connecticut native who has been playing music for over ten years. He teaches guitar, bass guitar, piano, ukulele, theory and composition, and audio production.
Benson obtained his Bachelors in Film and English from the University of Hartford where he minored in music at the Hart School concentrating in areas of music theory, jazz guitar, and sound recording. He additionally holds an associate's degree in fine art from Northwestern Connecticut Community College.
As a guitarist, Benson primarily plays instrumental arrangements of jazz and pop standards in a style he describes as "part Chet Atkins, part Joe Pass, and part Robert Johnson." He specializes in music theory and arranging music for solo guitar.
Outside of music, Benson enjoys watching movies, building computers, and listening to podcasts.
